Fellow Instructor Coordinators,
- The EMSCC has approved a virtual format for the Special Considerations: Pediatric Medication Administration required practical CE. See the attached Memorandum, lesson plan, and copy of sample scenarios attached to this email. This lesson plan must be followed if utilizing the virtual option for this class.
- As promised, our Education elements are moving to the elicensing portal. We will begin with the Application to Conduct CE Topic, and this will “Go Live” on February 1, 2021. There are several opportunities to attend a live virtual training session next week. Please see the attached flyer for registration and times (instructions for registration also attached). The current “202” application will be removed from our website on February 1, 2021, and we will no longer accept these applications after January 31, 2021.
- This Thursday, our Paramedic Program Directors are hosting a conference with some fantastic information and headline speakers. This was posted in last weeks Wednesday Update, but I am sharing with you here, as well. There is still time to register for this free event (Instructions attached).
- We have updated the Attendance Roster for Continuing Education classes. This includes a check box for in-person classes and virtual classes. This will be posted on our website, and this updated version must be used for all future CE classes.
As we begin this new year, EMS education is moving forward in Michigan. Be safe and stay well.
